Well another school year is in full swing. Back to early bed times and homework and rush rush rush to get everything done. I truely didn’t appreciate my own mother until having children of my own to run after. I hope I’m doing as well as she did. Anyone with kids can relte to having to keep things organized, which is a task all on it’s own. Ty’s got babsketball games, and his homework is almost too hard for me. I obviously am not smarter than a sixth grader. Daelen is pretty good at keeping track of her things and when they need to be done. Charity is still little and want to play instead of doing chores, but she does the job when you light a fire under her butt. And Shylo, my sweet little love. I don’t know what I’d do without her soft little kisses and bear hugs around the neck. She truely brightens my day with purity and love.
The true test was last night. It was the first night since school started that dad wasn’t here to help. He had a meeting, so it was up to mom to get everything finished. And it was the finale of America’s Got Talent , which is the only show I remain faithfull to. So everyone got their homework done, supper in their bellies, a little outside play with Bobby and Christian, and washed and in bed by nine. Huh….. I didn’t even have to scream until almost peeing my pants. We got it done and I felt accomplished for the day. Props to all the moms out there. It is the hardest job in the world. Just keeping up with housework, homework, and meals is crazy. Plus raising your kids, and hoping they don’t turn out to be serial killers. Thanks mom, for your example. I needed it.
